Jessica began practicing Shiatsu Massage in 2010. After a number of years in practice she realized her interest in this form of bodywork was rooted in her love of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She began studying Acupuncture in 2014 and graduated from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a Master's degree in the fall of 2019. Jessica also has a certificate for Shiatsu Massage from CenterPoint School of Massage and Shiatsu, a license from the City of Minneapolis, as well as a B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota Morris.
In her years of practice as a massage therapist- Jessica has enjoyed helping clients feel empowered to take an active role in their health and move forward with a better understanding of what their personal needs are. She is excited to add acupuncture to her services in order to better meet those clients' needs.
Outside of work Jessica enjoys training in brazillian jujitsu at X2 Fitness and is a brown belt under Professor Gina Franssen. Jessica has also been given the opportunity by Professor Franssen to become an instructor at X2- and teaches jujitsu alongside her professors. Her love of training has offered her a breadth of understanding for her work- including broadening her experience working with high level athletes.
