AcupunctureAcupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years and is a part of a Traditional Chinese Medicine system. It involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points to stimulate the body's natural self-healing process.

ShiatsuShiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork based in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
Shiatsu is done through loose, comfortable clothing on a mat on the floor or a low standing massage table using pressure, kneading, and stretching techniques. The goal of shiatsu is to balance the client's Qi ('chee') or vital energy. Practitioners assess each client according to their individual needs. |
CuppingCupping involves warming and placing cups, usually made of glass, on the skin. By warming the air within the cup, a vacuum is created, and when it is applied to the skin, the tissue is drawn up into the cup. This increases the blood flow, loosens the fascia or connective tissue, stimulates lymphatic flow and quickly gives tension and pain relief.
Cupping may cause temporary bruising depending upon the degree of suction created by the vacuum and the level of internal stagnation. |
